My eldest son, now a teen, is fond of collecting magic card decks. He sometimes joins pre-release events/tournamentsto get new release of magic cards.
He wants to start a blog about magic card decks. Read his words and comment or share anything about magic cards.
From my teenager, magic cards fanatic:
I will explain the purpose of this blog is. This blog is for show off and commenting on other people's magic card decksand giving advice on deck construction.
Ex. I want to remove 2 rhox war monks from my deck to add 2 sigiled paladins. Is this what I should remove or do I remove 2 aven squires instead of the war monks?
This blog can also be used in any other magic card related discussion.
Ex. Does anyone know where to buy tickets for prerelease and how much they cost?
That is all but please respond more.

Vacation Trips - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
My youngest is no longer a kid, he's now a pre-teen. See what he noted in our Kuala Lumpur vacation.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (through the eyes of a 12 year old, a pre-teen)
April 17, 2009 (Friday)
Today, we rode the afternoon plane to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The flight was really bumpy but the plane was really good. They gave us really good food and they even gave us 2 choices for our food. The choices were chicken adobo and vegetarian lasagna. I chose the chicken adobo. The drinks there were orange juice and pink lemonade. I had both but I liked the orange juice better. There was a lot of space in between the seats and they even had footstools. There was an in-flight movie too. We got to Malaysia at night so everything was closed and we just slept in our suite.
April 18, 2009 (Saturday)
Today, we went on a non-stop tour going to so many places exploring, sight-seeing and taking pictures. One place was the Pasig River of Malaysia but that was definitely not my favorite. Another place was the pewter museum where they gave us complimentary drinks of Sprite and showed us around the factory while also showing and telling us about the exhibits in the museum and how they’re made. They had the world’s biggest beer mug. They even told us this fact: Beer mugs are made from pewter. We didn’t even know beer mugs were made from pewter until today. Next and also last was Beryl’s Chocolate Kingdom. There were all sorts of chocolate everywhere. We bought a lot and took them back to the suite after going to the mall to eat and get groceries. The restaurant we ate at was Esquire Kitchen. After that we went back to the suite and relaxed.

Vacation Trips - Hong Kong
Disneyland is really a kids, pre-teens, teens and kids-at-heart place!
Hong Kong (through the eyes of an 11 year old kid)
April 14, 2008 (Monday)
Today, we went to Ocean Park. There were many schools of fish there. I really enjoyed watching the fish because they were doing many interesting things like hiding and swimming around in patterns.
April 15, 2008 (Tuesday)
Today, we went to Disneyland. My favorite land there was Tomorrow Land and there was a nice fountain there. My favorite ride was Astro Blasters at Tomorrow Land. I ate orange cotton candy in Fantasy Land and blueberry cotton candy in Tomorrow Land today. I got 2 souvenir coins too. One was Stitch from Tomorrow Land and the other was Simba from Adventure Land. My favorite show/ride was Stitch Encounter in Tomorrow Land. The MTR going to and from Disneyland looked nice because it was themed Disneyland.

Vacation Trips - Boracay, Philippines
Here's another one week trip to the beaches of Boracay. My kids really love the beaches and pools ... and pizza.
Boracay, Philippines (through the eyes of a 10 year old kid)
April 15, 2007 (Sunday)
Today, we rode the car, an airplane, a bus, a boat, and then a van to get to Laguna de Boracay. The boat ride made me a bit sick. When we got to our room, the 1st thing we did was order room service. We just swam at the swimming pool today because the beach was a bit far and the one near the hotel was the surfing beach.
April 16, 2007 (Monday)
Today we saw my best friend at the beach. We dug a well together before lunch. But after lunch we didn’t see him until he was going to leave the beach.
April 17, 2007 (Tuesday)
Today we ate at Aria before going to the beach. It’s a great restaurant with delicious pizza and other kinds of really good food. It was near the swimming beach so we didn’t have much trouble getting to the beach after that.
April 21, 2007 (Saturday)
Today is our last day at the beach and swimming pool. Tomorrow we’re leaving Boracay. I invented this game called wave riding today. In the game you stand in front of a wave then when it hits you, you go tumbling around in the water. It was really fun. We said goodbye to Boracay at the end of the day. Today, we’re leaving Boracay. We went home by riding a van, a boat, a bus, an airplane and then we rode the car back home.

Vacation Trips - Bangkok, Thailand
My youngest son is fond of reading and writing. Just recently he was reading his mini-journal which describes some of our vacation trips. We then agreed to post and share his journals in parts to show what kids see and feel during trips to new places.
Here is Part 1 which is my kid's second trip to a different country. We stayed in Bangkok for a week but he was only able to write about two days. Find out what he enjoyed in Bangkok.
Bangkok, Thailand (through the eyes of a 9 year old kid)
April 10, 2006 (Monday)
Today, we went on a tour to 2 Thai temples and a gem gallery then we went to Siam Paragon to eat at McDonald’s.
April 12, 2006 (Wednesday)
Today, we went on a tour to Safari Park. It was tiring so I usually sat down. The van was really nice and relaxing. Then we went to Siam Paragon to eat at Food Hall and look for toys. I and my brother, made a deal with my dad.
